Male | 8 years | Domestic Short Hair

About

Platinum arrived in our shelter as one of the 31 cats found in one home. He was very shut down and nervous. Platinum also presented with a deformed leg. This deformity was eventually amputated, leaving him with 3 legs. Platinum has not had too much people socialization before arriving here and we are slowly working with him everyday! He has grown a lot since his first day and accepts gentle pets and affection. Platinum is a sweet boy who has had a rough start to life. Platinum needs a home that is calm, quiet, and most importantly, patient. He will require time and patience for him to fully come out of his shell. He may benefit from having another cat in the home! We ask that Platinum is in an adult only home to ensure he is as comfortable as possible. Platinum is also available for foster or foster to adopt. His adoption fee is $55. We are now offering BOGO adoptions, adopt one cat or kitten and the second is free of charge. If you are interested in adopting a cat from HSPC, please complete our adoption application. Approved applicants will be contacted within 3 working days for an appointment. We operate by appointment only. Our online application can be found at: https://hspcwi.org/adopt/ All cats adopted through HSPC are spayed/neutered, microchipped, FeLV & FIV tested, and receive core vaccinations (younger kittens may not be fully vaccinated due to age). If you have any questions or concerns, please email the Cat Adoption Manager at adoption@hspcwi.org We look forward to introducing you to your new cat!
