Asta is ready to play, go for a walk, and ready to sit in your lap. That is after she gets to know you, she is a bit shy of new people. Due to her young age Asta will do well in an active home and with some basic training. She already knows "sit" and "down" and is eager to learn more. An adult home with maybe older teens would be best for her. She would prefer no other dogs or cats in her home. Asta is around one year old, weighs 46# is working on her house training, she is current on vaccines, micro chipped, heart worm negative. Her adoption fee is $150+tax. If you are interested in meeting/adopting Asta please submit a dog application at https://hspcwi.org/adopt/ The approved adopter will be contacted within three days for an appointment to meet her. There is no waiting on a transport, Asta is a Wisconsin dog! If the meeting goes well Asta can go home the same day. All dog adoptions come with a leash, collar, toys and 3 days of food. the adopter is given copies of all medical records. If the adopter is a resident of Portage County a dog license will be issued at the time of adoption.
